GD

Mine was: After the Common Wealth Games, should India pitch for Olympics?

The GD was held in the following fashion:

30 seconds to I min per person to introduce themselves

Topic Declared

A minute to reflect

30 seconds to 1 min per person to opinionate on the topic /*utilize this time well to put across all the points*/

Group Discussion for 5-8 minutes

Summary

Interview Round 1

A general round. Mixture of HR and Management, which asked basic questions like:

your strong points,

weak points, and how to tackle situations.

asked me a technical question from industrial economics which I’d mentioned I was studying,

projects/internships

how would you deal with a task

what do you do when faced with monotony

Interview Round II

A mixture of engineering tech and analytical skills. Tech questions pertained to the engineering major.

(Humour, on my part, worked in this case, when the questions kept coming faster than my answers. This relaxed the mood and they were easy with the questions after that)
