On the lines of other PSU’s like NTPC ,there was not written test conducted by Power Grid Corporation. The process followed was :
1) Shortlist
2) Interview
Shortlist:
It was based on CGPA
Interview:
Direct interview was taken which consisted of both HR and Technical questions. There questions about summer project and training.
Many Technical questions from Power Electronics, Wireless Communication, and Optical Fibers were asked.
Profile Offered : Graduate Engineer Trainee
Pay Scale : CTC- 11 LPA ( after 6th pay commission)
Eligibility Criteria :
1.Shortlist based on high CGPA
General Advice :
1.Be strong in Elementary physics(10th grade). General concepts from Electrical topics are questioned.
