Written Test :


Written test consisted of the Global Samsung Aptitude Test (GSAT).
 
It was a single round consisting of 50 questions –
 
25 based on quantitative aptitude and data interpretation;
 
25 based on analytical and logical reasoning.
 
1 hour was given to solve the 50 questions. There was no negative marking.
 
Questions:
 

Questions based on bar graphs, line graphs, pie charts (around 15)
 
Simple quantitative aptitude questions based on topics like Profit and Loss, Time Speed Distance, Ratio and Proportion.
 
 Reasoning section had questions based on Arrangements.
 
There was an average of 4-5 questions based on each arrangement. The above (incomplete) statement counts as one arrangement. There were 5 or 6 of these with a total of 25 questions based on them.
 
Technical Test with 3 sections on C, algorithms, Operating systems. 30 questions in total
 
Interview:
 
Interview involved basic technical questions. They mostly asked technical questions related to one’s project or major training.

Samsung Electronics India Software Operations (SISO) is one of the eleven Research & Development centers of Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., housed in the IT hub of India, Bangalore. With its inception in February 1996, as a liaison office, today it has grown as a center of research and software development encompassing a wide range of technology domains.
With about a decade of existence, the organization has executed close to 300 projects and employs close to 3000 Engineers. SISO also works with some of the organizations in Software and Technology in India.
