maths is the basic for each and every competative exams..when ever u r choosing any subject the input(maths) will be applied..so if u r strong in maths means definately u can increase the subject knowledge very good..MATHS is very important..without heart any man can't live..SO with out maths any competative exams are not der.. |

yes, ofcourse maths is very important for higher studies. especially in GRE u'll come across maths mainly. And in othr xams like gate, gmat, cat u'll find maths. its better to be prepared with basic concepts like simple and compound interest, perentages, profit n loss, geomentry, permutations, probability, ratios etc. you'll get separate books on maths for competitive xams. |

my answer to this question will be yes.beacause where ever you go you need maths.especially for ece and eee branches they need to have minimum basic knowledge about mathematics. |
