It is very important to be aware of the syllabus and the exam pattern to score well and to understand the paper. So let's have a quick glance at the syllabus and the exam pattern of the IBPS PO exam here:

IBPS PO Exam is held in two parts that are the preliminary exam and the main exam. Both the exam pattern is discussed below in detail here:

The IBPS PO prelims exam consists three subjects as follows:

IBPS PO Main exam

The IBPS PO main exam pattern has been changed from the 2017 year. There is a descriptive test is added to the main exam. Total 155 questions will be asked on the Main exam for 200 marks. the time duration of 3 hours will be given to solve 155 questions.

The descriptive test will consist 2 questions of 25 marks for 30 minutes. 

the exam pattern will be as follows for IBPS PO main exam:
