TATHVA is the annual techno-management fest organized by the National Institute of Technology, Calicut (NITC) Kerala, India. The 2011 edition is scheduled to be held from 20th to 23rd October. Over 40 events have been lined up for this edition of Tathva with a staggering 1.2 million cash
prize on offer.

Background :
Tathva, an event, which flagged off as a Students’ National Technical Symposium (in the year
2000) has transformed itself into an annual event of the college (in the year 2002) and as one of
the leading techno-management fest in the country.

Vision :
A pioneer of advacing the technical brilliance of students all over the world and to spur radical
growth in science and technology. With the immense succes it has seen, Tathva aspires to become
an internationally acclaimed techno-management fest in the years to come.

Purpose :
A platform for students from all over the nation to exhibit their knowledge and skills. A plethora
of competitions which include Paper Presentation, Design Contests, Technical quizzes among
many others, cover all fields of science and technology, offering one of the biggest opportunity to
students to diplay their technical prowess.

Theme:
'Inspiring Innovation', the two words that define Tathva! This theme, a characteristic feature of
the fest over the years, best describes what Tathva is all about.

A lecture series featuring the elite minds of the technical world, innovative exhibitions and
informative workshops, competitive and challenging events are what awaits a participant at
Tathva.
