The workshop in the area of Bioinformatics is to create awareness among the researchers, teachers and limited number of final year M. Sc. /M. Tech /B. Tech students for using bioinformatics tools and their applications in genome and proteome research. 

The training is primarily targeted to acquaint them in the frontier areas of the following :-
Biological databases and sequence analysis 
Molecular modelling and Drug designing 
Structural biology
Genomics 
Proteomics
Metabolomics
